Mphela suffered a knee injury during the MTN8 semi-final against Orlando Pirates recently and forced him to miss Bafana Bafana's Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Niger.
The Brazilians' supporters relations manager Alex Shakoane also confirmed that Elias Pelembe is still nursing an injury picked up during Mozambique’s Afcon qualifier against Liberia recently.
"Mphela is back at training. He started on Friday. Pelembe is recovering from his injury and hopefully will also start training with the rest of the team soon," Shakoane says.
