Tsepo Masilela started his first match for Getafe in La Liga last night, but was on the receiving end of a 4-2 drubbing by Real Madrid.
The South African international came on as a substitute last week in a 1-1 draw with Levante, but it was a completely different kettle of fish at the Bernabeu as a brace from Karim Benzema, as well as a Cristiano Ronaldo penalty and Gonzalo Higuain strike, helped Los Meringues to the top of the table.
However, Masilela far from disgraced himself and also played a part in Getafe’s first goal – marauding down the left flank before playing in a cross for Medhi Lacen, who set up Miko for the first of his two goals.
Next up for Masilela and his teammates is a home game against Rayo Vallecano.
