Mamelodi Sundowns boss Johan Neeskens was exasperated at his team's lack of initiative in a poor second-half performance after the Brazilians' narrow 3-2 victory over Wits at the Mbombela Stadium this evening.
Sundowns had very little to offer going forward in the second period after taking a commanding three goal lead in the first.
"I don't know how many times I have to tell my players that a game is 90 minutes long. We need a different mentality. You can't defend deep against a dangerous opponent. It is not just a matter of focus; an opponent 3-0 down is willing to risk more to get back in the game," said Neeskens.
