Young has struck up a real understanding with Rooney since his summer move to Old Trafford, with each continuing their stunning starts to the season during the international break.Rooney scored twice in Friday's European Championship qualifier in Bulgaria, with Young netting the only goal of last night's Group G win over Wales.
"It can only help playing with such a great talent," said Young, who scored his third goal in his last three games for club and country at Wembley yesterday.
"He's been tremendous from the word go, from the start of the season.
"I feel if we can keep playing well together at club level, we can bring it here at international level."
