Schillo and KG back in action

Both Steven Pienaar and Kagisho Dikgacoi are back in full training after lengthy spells on the sidelines and should win places on the bench this weekend, at least.

Pienaar has not played for English Premiership side Tottenham Hotspur since last season, after suffering a groin injury.

It had been hoped he would return in time for the Uefa Europa League home tie with Shamrock Rovers two weeks ago, but manager Harry Redknapp decided not to risk him in that match, or in the North London Derby win over Arsenal that followed.

'Schillo' was also not deemed fit enough to take part in Bafana Bafana's now infamous 0-0 draw with Sierra Leone last weekend.

But having worked hard during the international break, Pienaar has been passed fit by Spurs for their match against his boyhood heroes Newcastle United on Sunday.

Dikgacoi was due to be playing at the end of September but his hamstring injury took longer than expected to heal and he too missed Bafana's crucial qualifier.

He has been back in full training this week with English Championship side Crystal Palace and could play some part during their trip to Watford on Saturday.

Dikgacoi has not played for The Eagles since mid-August.
