Fergie: Rafa Ain't No Friend Of Mine

Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson has incurred the wrath of Liverpool supporters again, hitting out at ex-Reds boss Rafa Benitez in an unprovoked attack.
During a press conference in the office of an Italian newspaper Fergie happened to glance at a photo of Benitez.
Unbidden, Fergie said:  “He is jobless and he is not my friend.”
On the other hand, Fergie says he is close pals with Real Madrid's often maligned manager, Jose Mourinho.
“Jose is a good friend of mine,” said Ferguson. “He doesn’t hide his emotions. I like that in human beings. The good thing about Jose is he can laugh at himself.
“After a game we have a glass of wine, we talk about a million things. He is a good man but is young, maybe in four or five years’ time he will be more calm.”
Many believe The Special One is a shoo-in to replace Fergie in the United hot-seat when the grumpy gaffer retires.
But Red Devils fans can rest assured that will not be happening any time soon.
“Over the years I’ve had the question, who could replace me?" he said. "You’d need someone very experienced in the long term. But I’ve no idea... I’m not retiring.”
