Mamelodi Sundowns coach Johan Neeskens has promised the club supporters that he will try to win trophies this season.
Neeskens met with the club supporters in Mabopane yesterday to share his vision and ambitions for the club this season.
The Dutchman was accompanied by his technical team - Alex Bapela, Harold Legodi and general manager Kenneth Makhanya.
Neeskens said he can achieve success with the club if the club supporters also come to the party and fill more seats at the stadiums, especially when playing at home.
"I like the 12th player because it makes us even stronger than the opposition team," he said.
Although promising to deliver the goods at Chloorkop this season, the former Dutch international warned Sundowns supporters that Rome was not built in a day and appealed for patience.
"My mission is to see the club playing attractive and attacking football, but don't forget that doesn't happen overnight. When you build a house, you don't start with the roof but with the foundations.
"I am happy with the the progress that the team has made since July and I am hopeful that by the end of the season we will have won more titles."
Sundowns supporters also got the opportunity to ask the coach questions and Naskeens was quizzed on whether Surprise Moriri will continue with his role as anchorman in the centre of the field. Moriri has been playing in a more defensive role this season.
"I regard him as the best player in that position in the squad at the moment. To me, he is my number one in that position," says Neeskens.
