Drogba and Anelka recommended to AC Milan by Carlo Ancelotti

Carlo Ancelotti, it has been reported, recommended the Chelsea strikers to athether of his former clubs.
Ancelotti, who was sacked as manager at Stamford Bridge in the summer and also spent eight years in charge at San Siro, was quoted as saying Drogba and Anelka - whose contracts expire at the end of the season - would fit in "very well" at Milan.
Milan, who have also been linked with Manchester City star Mario Balotelli, are in the market for a forward after Antonio Cassano was ruled out for six months following heart surgery.
Galliani said the club would consider signing Drogba or Anelka, initially on loan, when the transfer window reopens.
"Ancelotti understands football," Galliani said. "Perhaps we will take them both."
Galliani, however, countered that statement by saying the club may not need any players on a full-time basis. "Seriously, it is not certain that we will sign anyone in January," he said.
"If we did it would be a loan because I promised to keep a place for Cassano.
"Anelka is a major player but I have been in love with Drogba since he played in Marseille."
Chelsea have offered Drogba, 33, a new deal but are resigned to losing 32 year-old Anelka at the end of the season.
They are running out of time to reach an agreement with the former, with both strikers currently free to sign a pre-contract with a rival club in January.
